Where possible we will always try and offer you microsuction first

If for some reason we are unable to offer you a microsuction ear wax removal we will offer wax removal by irrigation.

Unlike syringing which is a forced entry of lukewarm water into the ear which can’t be regulated for pressure and in some instances cause damage to the ear drum or cause extreme vertigo irrigation is a controlled stream of water that gently flows around the ear canal until the wax is removed.

Where possible we will always try and offer you microsuction as we feel this is by far the safest form of ear wax removal.

    Glasgow Private Clinic has its own dedicated parking area for patients along with disability parking. Parking is free and is directly in front of Lanarkshire Hearing Centre Clinic and the Glasgow Private Clinic on Ayr Road.

MICROSUCTION PROCESS

Micro-suction is a water free, safe and effective way to remove excess ear wax.

MICROSUCTION TREATMENT

Ear Wax Removal £40 for one and £60 for both. £20 ear health inspection charge if no ear wax present.

*99.9% of ear wax can be removed the same day. If you have used a cotton bud you may have impacted the wax and it may be too hard to remove with one appointment. We would advise a few days oil before a visit if this is the case. If you require a second appointment because of cotton bud use this will be charged @ £20.
