Andrew Donaldson

Audiologist

Already having skills in Technology and Teaching, Andrew found his way into Audiology with a vendor based in Kent, undergoing intensive in house training before completing his Audiology studies at DMU Leicester.

Andrew naturally moved into the world of programming Hearing Instruments and Audiology; as he could see the world of apps and Bluetooth having an impact in the sector.

Once qualified, Andrew began his practice working domiciliary in Dumfries and Galloway, before taking up a new position in Ayrshire, managing a branch and training students.

In 2017, Andrew expanded his audiology practice and undertook NHS wax removal training in Birmingham. Now, after almost 18 years in the industry, he has worked with people from all over Scotland and the UK and with most of the major manufacturers and suppliers.

Andrew is driven by the feel good factor of seeing a face light up when a person can hear much better again and helping patients get to grips with technology.

He looks forward to developing the clinic here in Newton Mearns and serving in the wider area of Renfrewshire and Lanarkshire.
