I have been meaning to write this review for a while. Steven Ross helped me through one of the most difficult times of... my life after I developed tinitus and reactive tinitus. Although I was booked for an hour he talked and helped me for over 3 hours at no extra charge. If you have developed or suffered tinitus please speak to Steven, he is far more helpful and knowledgeable than the consultants I spoke to. I would like to thank the centre and Steven for the help and great work they do on a daily basis.read more

Easy to make appointment, this was for my father who had complained about blocked ears for a long time the blockage was... cleared in 5 mins , but when I looked in his ears later I could still see some wax and flaky skin just inside the ear canal I would have thought that as the blockage was cleared so fast they could have at least cleared away the rest of the wax to ensure a clean earread more

I had been referred via my GP to the central hub to have my ears syringed but they were not providing this service due... to the aerosol nature of the procedure during current restrictions; it was their suggestion that I consult LHC and this reassured me. Their microsuction technique has no aerosol output and therefore approved. I was given an appointment that day and my hearing restored. So it was quick, professional and completely effective. I wholeheartedly recommend.read more

It's been a nightmare for my mother-in-law Sadie who has had such a large build up of wax she could not hear a thing... even with her hearing aids in. We called Anne for an appointment and got one for next day. On arrival Anne and Pauline were very welcoming took Sadie under their wing and in less than 20 minutes Sadie was hearing and smiling. Thanks to LHC for being so friendly and doing a fantastic job, well done all.read more

Brilliant expedite. Phoned one morning in total agony with blocked up eat wax and got an appointment that afternoon. My... ears have been great ever since! The suction procedure was totally painless & took 5 mins. I phoned again this morning as my 90+ year old gran had the same difficulty and they have been able to book her in this as afternoon! Having become deaf due to ear wax I felt completely isolated, not only locked down due to the coronavirus but also... locked in due to deafness. You've no idea how stressful that combination is! Not wanting to bother my general practitioner during the epidemic I turned to the Lanarkshire Hearing Centre for help. I telephoned at 10:00 am, received an appointment for 12:30 pm that same day, and left the premises at 1:00 pm, my hearing completely restored. The procedure was efficiently undertaken by Anne, quite painlessly. All precautions against the coronavirus were observed. I cannot recommend the Lanarkshire Hearing Centre highly enough.read more

Very professional and friendly service delivered,my daughter is very thankful for your help today,highly... recommended.Only issue was we did state that we only had issues with the one ear and we did state it was one ear that needed attention however both ears were treated and although the suspect ear took around 20 minutes plus to correct the other ear took around 2 minutes which was an additional charge to us...I just though the other ear was pointless and costly!!!!read more

Having a problem with my ears, and not knowing what was wrong was starting to worry me. I emailed Lanarkshire Hearing... Centre last night, and had reply early this morning, inviting me to make an appointment to come in for an assessment. Had wax removal been necessary, it would have been carried out during that visit, but it turned out to be more of an irritation, and I was given advice by Anne on how to deal with the problem. I have to say I was treated in a most professional, friendly manner, in relaxing surroundings, and kept informed all during ear examination. I will have no hesitation in recommending LHC , or returning if the need ever arises. Once again, thank you Anne.read more

Ears were blocked with wax, due to Covid couldn’t go to the Dr as normal, so attended Lanarkshire Hearing Centre for... treatment. The premises were spotless and the treatment results were excellent. I require this treatment every few years, next time, even if the Dr is reopened, I’ll be returning here. I could not have been happier with the service and result.read more

Great experience. Ann was gentle and prompt to treat my ears. She took the time to explain how the procedure will be... and the possible side effects. What I suggest is to check on the hearing devices in exhibition at the front desk as it appears one of them in the display was not clean. I might have got a wrong impression on the device but it is worth having a wee look. I felt safe at all times. I totally recommend LHC.read more

Found the Lanarkshire Hearing Center on the google & I’m glad I did my as my ear needed the wax removed badly (it was... driving me crazy) so I contacted them on the Wednesday and they sorted me out ASAP Anne (the real boss) was so friendly made me feel at home from the get go & Less than 20 mins later my ears were working perfectly again. Absolutely amazing service. Very flexible in helping get me an appointment I could attend after work. Although when I... went I didnt need my ears cleaned and Anne showed me everything she could see. After realising that my hearing loss was not due to wax they completed a last minute hearing test and was very reassuring. Spoke to Steven via email on Thursday, explained my symptoms and by 12.30pm the very next day I had been seen, treated... and I could not be happier with the results. Anne was very welcoming, explained what she was doing and why, the removal itself was pain free, quick and effective. My partner no longer has to repeat herself 50 times over before I can understand what she's saying and I genuinely cannot remember the last time my hearing felt this clear.
